This new initiative of Reliance Foundation in the field of various diseases
Congenital heart disease is a serious health problem in India. It has a very high mortality rate. About 1 in 100 newborns are affected by it. Similarly, breast cancer is the most common cancer among Indian women. Breast cancer accounts for more than 25% of all cancers in women. If breast cancer is diagnosed early, the patient's chances of surviving for five years are 4.4 times higher than those diagnosed late. With cervical cancer cases also continuing to rise in India, this new initiative by Reliance Foundation in the field of these three diseases is welcome.
